What we love about each other

His arguments being roasted and her points being overly rational as the conversation goes on.

Them being dressed up. Otherwise is equally fine.

Him being unexpectedly intelligent and her being totally persuaded.

She doesn’t finish her bowl of pho and he finishes it.

I Never

A poem written by her for him

Never have I felt loving this much
Sitting here recalling your touch
All those years did I go through
Turned out nothing until you

Never have I missed someone’s hands
Like a mate’s, like a brother’s, like a man’s
Lean fingers moving with gentleness
Entwining mine just feel right and sweet

Never have I kissed someone’s lips
With desire so raw and emotion so deep
Heady warmth made of saccharine
Swollenness tastes like you and cream

Never have I sensed such security
No more faiths with uncertainty
No beliefs lost in the long wait
With you now I have no regrets

Never have I been so passionate
Bout my own zeals did you rejuvenate
Inspirations ever come so close
That I can nothing but hold

Never have I seen the world
So pink and bright like a little girl
The world did you step in and accept
Then became vital in its depth
